To ensure continuity of care for people who are vulnerable or suffering from a long-term illness (ALD) since leaving confinement, the so-called “long” specific consultation can be carried out until September 15, 2020: it is covered by the CNMSS 100% under certain conditions …
During confinement, many patients were forced to postpone their consultations, making their medical monitoring more difficult, which is why a “post-containment” follow-up consultation has been set up for frail people.
The so-called “long” specific consultation is performed by an attending physician or any other physician involved in the care of the patient, when the latter has no attending physician.
100% support over there CNMSS, she must be carried out between May 29 and September 15, 2020 at the practitioner’s office or during a home visit.
It is reserved for insured persons vulnerable (1) and to the insured with ALD that fill at least one of the two following criteria:
- not having had a consultation with their attending physician or any other physician involved in their care during the period of prohibition of all travel,
- have been referred by a health establishment on discharge from hospitalization.
The price of this consultation covered 100% by the CNMSS is € 46 in mainland France and € 55.20 in the French Overseas Departments or Regions (DROM).
(1) Fragile or vulnerable people likely to develop a severe form of COVID-19 infection are people 65 years of age and over, pregnant women in their third trimester of pregnancy, those affected by conditions such as cardiovascular history, diabetes, chronic pathology respiratory failure, chronic renal failure on dialysis, progressive cancer under treatment, obesity, immunosuppression.
