In recent years the fashion is for the buttocks, and not just any: big, firm and plump buttocks. Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Nabilla Benattia-Vergara promote it throughout Instagram posts. An impressive result which, let us remember, often requires going through surgery.

So, seeing the enthusiasm generated by this trend, S., a young woman from Seine-Saint-Denis, decides to set up her business.

As our colleagues from the Parisian, who revealed this affair, the influencer proposes on the networks of “cures ” , ranging from 75 to 120 euros, with the promise of quickly gaining pounds in the buttocks (and especially not elsewhere).

A product dangerous to health

If the product seems to work, it is nonetheless very dangerous for health. These magic pills contain Dexamethasone, a synthetic hormone that cannot be used without a doctor’s prescription.

Sometimes used (illegally) in farms to make animals grow faster, this hormone is prohibited for athletes and racehorses since it is considered doping.

Asked by The Parisian, Doctor Jean-Michel Cohen, nutritionist, alert on these products: “When you take these kinds of substances, you screw up your hormonal system and expose yourself to very serious health risks.”

The young woman has just been sentenced to one year in prison, including six months suitable for conversion, for drug trafficking.
