ARS open investigation and analysis

The Evry prosecutor’s office told AFP that they had opened an investigation for “search for the causes of death“, entrusted to the Evry police station, according to the prosecution and a police source, confirming information from the Parisian.

Informed of this “event“, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Ile-de-France, will carry out a “first analysis“with the detailed report of the intervention, the copy of the recording tapes from the Samu telephone call center and the copy of the medical regulation sheets,” the ARS told AFP.

“Give Doliprane”

According to The Parisian, the family said they had contacted on several occasions, from Friday April 30, the Samu de l’Essonne, who had advised to give “Doliprane“to the patient. Two days before the death, the first symptoms including fever, breathing problems and vomiting had indeed appeared.

The Samu de l’Essonne, managed by the Center hospitalier Sud Ile-de-France (CHSF), had moved too late, a few moments before the death which occurred on Monday May 3 at 3 a.m., still according to the daily.

Since the start of the pandemic, several complaints have been filed in France against the Samu for “neglect“,”non-assistance“even”manslaughter“, questioning his management of patients with covid-19.
