As part of the State recovery plan, the CNMSS pays particular attention to the energy and environmental transition. Three projects are therefore being implemented to reduce the energy consumption of its buildings.

In September 2020, the Government launched an economic recovery plan in order to quickly and sustainably turn around the French economy, around three main areas: competitiveness, cohesion and ecology, to support the transition to a greener and more sustainable economy. Thus, by the real estate component of the recovery plan, the government wants public buildings to take part in the national energy renovation effort.

In this sense, the CNMSS is part of the State’s recovery plan and benefits from financial assistance to reduce its energy consumption in its buildings.

Three projects presented by the establishment were selected:

• The relamping of the Toulon buildings (Switching to low-consumption LED lighting),

• Changing the exterior joinery of the Paris branch,

• The resumption of the boiler and the heating system of the Paris branch.

These investments will also contribute to improving the quality of reception for users and the working conditions of agents.

These projects are funded by the government as part of the recovery plan.
