On November 20, the National Military Social Security Fund (CNMSS) and the Army Health Service (SSA) organize a conference in the presence of Geneviève DARRIEUSSECQ, Secretary of State to the Minister of the Armed Forces to present the results of the New Generation Survey.
Conducted since February 2019, the New Generation Survey’s main objective is to describe the state of physical and psychological health, the care pathways and the prevention needs of soldiers (active, retired), their families as well as healthcare professionals. health.
The first part of the survey focused on:
- 5,000 soldiers from the Army, the French Navy, the Air Force, the Gendarmerie and services drawn at random
- 47,000 families and 10,000 military retirees contacted by the CNMSS
The second part concerned the health professionals of the SSA, in order to better understand their health prevention practice concerning active military personnel, and to better identify their priority needs with regard to their professional practice.
The results make it possible to establish a factual inventory of the physical and psychological health of active soldiers, their families and retired armed forces. They provide the SSA and at the CNMSS the material needed to better identify current health issues and build prevention action plans for the coming years.
