Against the Covid-19 epidemic, the national strategy is to rapidly screen and break the chains of viral transmission. In order to achieve this, a contact tracing operation has mobilized Health Insurance since deconfinement. In the current context of accelerated contamination, the CNMSS comes to lend a hand to the general regime on this fundamental operation to slow the spread of the virus.

As of October 19, there are 21 volunteer agents of the CNMSS who have joined the Health Insurance teams in charge of carrying out contact tracing surveys.

Trained at the Var CPAM, to which they now provide their support, the agents of the military regime are tasked with quickly calling the person who tested positive for COVID-19. With the patient’s help, they confirm or complete the list of people whose contact details he has communicated to his attending physician, and with whom he has had close contact.

Their mission is then to personally inform each of these “contact cases” of their potential exposure to the virus, then to support them by inviting them to perform a test and to observe a period of isolation.

Test, trace, isolate: this is the contact tracing strategy that town doctors, health insurance and CNMSS are working together to stop the epidemic.
