Friday 22 January 2021, Thierry Barrandon, director of CNMSS, had the honor of receiving the visit of Florence Parly, Minister of the Armed Forces, accompanied by military and local authorities.

Centered on the social issues of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, this trip was marked by the inauguration on the Sainte-Anne life base (Toulon) of the Athos house, dedicated to the reception of soldiers with mental injuries, and of the ATLAS space (Access anytime, any place to support). The CNMSS is a partner of this new support system offered to soldiers and their families.

The minister then went to the headquarters of the establishment to show her attachment to the military social protection system.

Because being a soldier is not an ordinary job, CNMSS offers a range of services in terms of health services and medico-social support which contributes to the operational efficiency of the Armed Forces.

Florence Parly’s visit began with the inter-regime “Contact Tracing” platform in charge of identifying potentially sick or asymptomatic people, following close contact with a person detected positive for COVID-19. On this occasion, the Minister was able to discuss with the volunteer agents of the CNMSS, in charge of this mission.
